OMEGA 3

Die Wirkung von Omega 3

Omega-3 fatty acids are a group of essential fatty acids that are essential for optimal health. There are three main types of omega-3 fatty acids that are important to the human body: alpha-linolenic acid ( ALA ), eicosapentaenoic acid ( EPA ), and docosahexaenoic acid ( DHA ). DHA in particular is of great importance to the human brain as it plays an important role in brain development and function .

The brain is largely made up of fatty acids , and DHA makes up a significant portion of it. It is an important component of cell membranes in the brain and enables communication between cells. DHA is also involved in the formation of new brain cells and in the regulation of inflammatory processes , which are associated with various neurological diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and depression.

It has been shown in numerous studies that a lack of omega-3 fatty acids in the body can lead to impaired cognitive functions, mood and behavior. Children who do not consume enough DHA in their first years of life may have problems with their cognitive development and behavior. Adults who don't get enough omega-3 fatty acids can suffer from depression and anxiety and have a higher risk of neurological diseases .

Now for reference to the 🥦:

🥦 binds to specific receptors in the brain called cannabinoid receptors. These receptors are part of the endocannabinoid system, which plays an important role in regulating various functions in the body, including mood and appetite. Many of these receptors are located in the brain .

Studies have shown that 🥦 can increase the release of dopamine and serotonin in the brain, leading to feelings of euphoria and happiness. It has also been shown that 🥦 can affect cognitive function, particularly memory and the ability to perform complex tasks.

However, there is some evidence that omega-3 fatty acids may mitigate the negative effects of 🥦 on cognitive function. In a study on mice, a diet rich in omega-3 fatty acids was shown to reduce cognitive impairment caused by 🥦 . Another human study found that high intake of omega-3 fatty acids may be associated with a lower risk of developing psychosis related to 🥦 consumption.

For this reason we have included our product BRAINBALANCE+ in the shop.
